Two years of tutoring experience with students in the high school age range.

I want to ensure every student their capacity to learn and allow them to believe in themselves as a student.

When I am not teaching, I am usually active outside, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, or at the gym.

When I want to slow things down, I am always content staying in at home listening to music or watching a show.

About the lesson

Get to know the student, their academic goals, study habits, weaknesses, and strengths. Then, address the problem or topic they need help with, explaining the subject in a manner that is easy to understand and relate to. After, practice problems will be done to ensure understanding. Using this method---and applying it in spaced intervals---student mastery of topics is achieved.
