About Rivya
My interest in programming began with a passion for technology and problem-solving. This led me to complete a Master’s in Computer Science, where I developed strong expertise in programming and software development. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students learn coding in a structured and supportive way that builds confidence and consistency.
I believe programming should be taught through clear logic, hands-on practice, and step-by-step guidance. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts and encouraging students to experiment and learn actively. I support learners in building confidence and improving steadily through consistent practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy working on software projects and exploring new technologies. This helps me keep my lessons practical and up to date. Teaching programming is very meaningful to me because I see students grow from beginners to confident coders. Helping them develop strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

In my lessons, I focus on key concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, functions, and basic data structures using simple and structured explanations. I break each concept into smaller steps so students can follow comfortably without confusion. I also include hands-on coding exercises, real-world examples, and project-based learning to make lessons engaging and practical. Each session is interactive and supportive, helping students build confidence while improving their coding skills step by step in a structured and encouraging environment.
As students progress, lessons are adapted based on their level and learning goals. Beginners focus on understanding basic concepts and writing simple programs. Intermediate learners work on problem-solving, debugging, and building small applications. Advanced students focus on advanced logic, efficient coding, and project development. I provide regular coding practice, structured exercises, and detailed feedback to ensure steady improvement and strong programming skills over time.
