About Wallace
I am in the top 0.5% of players on chess.com (1900+ rating) in multiple chess formats. Additionally, I have experience having taught professionally at a chess academy. While continuing to play and improve in chess, I was able to maintain a 3.6 GPA at Santa Clara University, graduating with a Computer Science major and Mathematics minor. Chess has helped me in building upon my decision making capabilities and pattern recognition, thus allowing me to break into big tech as a Software Engineer. Lastly, I was 1700+ in the United States Chess Federation before retiring from it in high school.

I plan on teaching students on how to discover tactics, and intuitively think on how they could strive to make better moves. I am rated in the top 0.5% of players on chess.com (1900+ on bullet, blitz, and rapid), and I guarantee to at least teach whoever takes lesson with me to break into the 1000+ rating threshold. I will work together with the student through games and puzzles together to analyze how they could be improving.
