I like to follow top-down approach while teaching a new topic. I strongly feel that knowing how and where to apply learnt concepts is more important than just knowing multiple things. I believe in understanding the fundamentals first and then slowly going into depth. I like focussing on getting the intuition and basic understanding of the concept, which can be then followed by advanced concepts. I prefer interacting with students, if possible, and believe learning & teaching is just another fruitful discussion between students and the teacher. Finally, solving questions strengthens concepts and help in retaining them in a more clear way and for longer duration.
