About Varvara
Hi! My name is Varvara and I'm a Math / Computer Science student.
I've been tutoring a variety of math subjects for the past 3 years, and have always loved seeing others succeed in the subjects I was passionate about. What started as an after school hobby quickly became my first job. I've always been a straight A student when it came to math, and have helped others do the same. From middle school to intro college courses, let's work together to improve your understanding of math.

I believe in connecting with every student on an individual level and adapting my lesson plan according to their learning style, but the base structure of my math lessons goes like this:
- Introduce the theory we will be using (for college students, discuss theory / proofs in a rigorous way)
- Do an example problem by myself, outlining the steps clearly
- Solve another problem, this time working together with the student
- Giving the student an example to do by themselves, providing feedback along the way
This is to make sure the material is completely understood and the student will be able to perform no matter the context
