About Conor
My name is Conor and I am a 20-year-old undergraduate student studying Computer Science at Dublin City University. I have always had an interest in computers and took part in many CoderDojo sessions when I was younger. I found a love for teaching programming and coding when my younger sister showed an interest in learning programming skills. I have since taught her (and some of her friends) how to code, set up websites and create simple games.

WHY: I started teaching my little sister, at age 10, how to code and she enjoyed it so much her friends also asked for classes. She has recently created her own website with my guidance. HOW: I focus on the fun side of programming and make it accessible and interesting for all age groups. LESSON TYPE: For younger kids (under 12) I would recommend 30 mins to one-hour classes. For older kids and teenagers, a one-hour session is suitable. Both online and in-person (Leinster only) classes can be facilitated. My aim is to introduce kids to the fun side of programming and to help them build their skills and confidence quickly developing a life-long interest in the subject.
