I typically use a variety of teaching methods, mainly the demonstration, discussion and then direction methods. I will go over the topic for the session first where the student can watch, listen and take notes, then discuss the topic and any questions the student may have, and then the student will be given tasks to show their understanding of the topic.
These tasks will vary depending on the topic from small quizzes, to problems they must solve and scenarios they have to follow.
