I focus on encouragement, self-expression, and creating a supportive environment where every student feels comfortable speaking in front of others. Hi! I’m Mahari, and I love helping kids and teens find their voice and build confidence through public speaking. My lessons are all about encouragement, self-expression, and making each student feel comfortable speaking in front of others.
Teaching Method & Techniques:
• I start by getting to know each student, understanding their personality, strengths, and areas they want to grow.
• Lessons are interactive and supportive, with fun exercises that encourage kids to step outside their comfort zone while feeling safe.
• I focus on confidence, stage presence, and self-expression, not just memorizing speeches.
Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Check-in & Warm-Up: Talk with the student, share experiences, and ease nerves.
2. Confidence Building: Fun exercises, storytelling, or mini public speaking challenges.
3. Guided Practice: Students try short speeches or presentations with support and encouragement.
4. Reflection & Feedback: Positive reinforcement, highlighting growth, and suggesting next steps.
5. Wrap-Up: Recap, celebrate accomplishments, and set small goals for next lesson.
