About Megan
Silence is the most important part of any good guitar melody. We start by assessing your current strumming patterns and electric technique. I prioritize reading sheet music alongside natural feel. You will learn to integrate these elements into a cohesive sound. My 20 years of playing inform every correction I offer. We refine fingerpicking until it feels like a natural extension of your hands. Mistakes are simply opportunities to adjust your posture. You will soon play with the ease of a seasoned artist.

Strings became my constant companion during a long childhood spent in Madrid. Admitting that I initially struggled to find the right tempo for complex Latin rhythms was my first real lesson. My 20 years of performing across Australia have shaped how I present these concepts to others. Holding a BM Contemporary Music degree provides the structural foundation for my teaching. I find genuine joy in watching a student finally articulate a difficult passage with clarity. Teaching these methods to teens and working professionals remains the core of my daily artistic practice.
