My approach to tutoring is all about teaching through demonstration and positive reinforcement because I believe students learn best when they see concepts in action. I focus on middle and high school students who are working through Algebra or getting started with Python programming especially during the crunch of test prep season.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check in on any trouble spots followed by a session where I solve problems or walk through code in real time to show exactly how to think through the logic. After that we move into guided practice where I focus on building up a student's confidence through steady encouragement. What sets me apart is that I am a Cornell graduate who actually uses these math and coding skills in my professional software projects so I can explain the material in a way that feels practical and easy to understand rather than just reciting a textbook.
