About Matt
24 year old professional drummer based in Guildford with over 14 years worth of experience. I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Drums which I achieved at The Academy of Contemporary Music. I have been giving privately taught lessons since 2013, helping drummers of all ages, skill levels and abilities achieve personal milestones and grades on the drum kit. I have taught and achieved students grades in Trinity Rock & Pop as well as Rockschool. I also have a Level 2 CPE qualification.

I believe in lessons being fun but productive and organised. I cater to the students requirements each lesson depending on how they're feeling. Learning a instrument should be a enjoyable experience, not monotonous and repetitive. I like to ensure the student always walks away from the lesson happy, whether there's been significant progress made or not. To achieve this, I listen to and adapt the lesson plan based on the students concentration span/ energy levels.
