About Tangela
Spending 5 years in the studio taught me that technical skill is secondary to artistic clarity. I admit that my initial years were spent fighting my own equipment rather than making music.
Having earned my BMus from the Royal Academy of Music, I emphasise foundational technique so it supports rather than hinders your creative process. I work with hobbyists, students, career switchers, content creators, complete beginners, and aspiring artists. My technical toolkit includes EQ and compression, recording and tracking, automation, beat-making and drum programming, and arrangement and song structure.
I also cover stem and session prep, mastering basics, and reference mixing. Balancing craft with imagination ensures your ideas remain the priority throughout the production phase. Teaching others to build repeatable processes is what I do best.
It is genuinely satisfying to see an artist find their own unique workflow. Helping you navigate the complexities of production is the most enjoyable part of my day.
