About Jody
I have experience working with writers at all stages of their careers, from beginners to seasoned industry professionals. My work as a Freelance Script Editor has honed my ability to provide constructive feedback and help writers refine their ideas. I believe every story holds value and potential, and I’m dedicated to helping my students grow by improving their skills. A lot of the reason why I like to tutor is because I never had a consistent mentor or someone to bounce ideas off of while I was starting my own writing career. I can be that for you!

My writing and editing background comes from my experience as a Freelance Script Editor as well as a Writers’ Assistant at Marvel Studios. I’m passionate about helping others find their voice, strengthen their writing, and achieve their creative goals. Writing is a personal and beautiful art form and I am here to encourage your ideas and improve your skills so you love the words you are putting down on the page.
