About Julie
TEACHING STYLE: We learn best when we're relaxed and having fun! My college mentor taught me that the two main ingredients of a good teacher are love of the student and love of the subject. I have an abundance of both.

If you're an aspiring creative writer, or a college or university student seeking to improve your writing, you've come to the right place. I teach all ages and levels, though I have the most to offer at higher skill levels. I love working with kids ages 9 and up. I also love working with older adults and people with disabilities.
The best way to improve your writing is to work directly with your own written words on the screen. Bring in writing you've done, or I'll assign writing prompts. We'll work together live on your document, along with occasional short lessons on the subjects that are most helpful to your needs and goals.
