With extensive knowledge of common core standards, and 13 years of successful experience teaching struggling students, I can cater lessons to your specific needs.
Most of my experience has been teaching middle school, however I am qualified to teach K-8.
I have worked with students with various learning disabilities, as well as ADHD and Dyslexia, and understand how the brain could process information differently.
Lessons are engaging, while still covering what it is you need to learn.
My strength as a teacher has always been my connection with my students. I want to build a relationship that allows students to feel safe and heard, which will allow them to communicate openly so that they can grow and begin to build confidence in their learning.
