About Aysha
I am a masters student at Portsmouth studying criminology and criminal psychology. I graduated from my undergraduate degree in criminology and criminal justice with a first class honours. My specialist areas are youth crime, punishing offenders, key criminological theory, green criminology.
For the past year and a half I have been the Hampshire youth intervention lead for national sport for development organisation using sport as a pathway away from crime. As part of this role I deliver a number of accredited training courses and workshops to groups of learners.

I use a range of teaching methods that are inclusive of various learning styles to meet the individual needs of the learner and promote a positive learning experience. I primarily use discussion for both one-to-one and group sessions and encourage learner led delivery fostering a sense of self-efficacy and confidence in their subject knowledge.
