About Allison
I am a second-grade teacher in a public school, I see the urgent need for reading support in our youth. The challenges students face academically are contributing to overall behavior issues in the schools, and more importantly, are discouraging students and hindering them from reaching their full potential. Regardless of the path your child takes in life, basic literacy skills are a necessity and will alleviate a large amount of stress for years to come.

I also will take into account your child's specific learning needs and interests to create a learning plan that is effective, engaging and flexible. Lessons will include phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency and comprehension practice as well as integrated progress monitoring to keep you informed of your child's progress after each session.
