About James

I am a computer science student and tutor at the University of California, San Diego. I have over a year of tutoring experience, teaching students in lower division university courses.
I come from a rigorous high school in the Bay Area and have a strong background in math, computer science, and physics. Some of my high school test results are below:

About the lesson

My main tutoring philosophy is to ensure students understand the concepts first, then move on to several example problems. As a recent high school graduate, I know the most up-to-date tricks to help ace your next exam! I am patient with students and use diagrams, verbal explanations, and mathematical explanations to convey information to the student. These lessons can range from elementary school topics up until early university topics.
