About Eve
I am a current university student looking to help younger students in their GCSEs or A Levels. I am a confident, articulate, professional communicator. I believe the best way to improve in a subject, particularly history, is to break it down into its core components and move up from that. I am really good at taking these larger concepts and finding easy and clear ways to communicate and understand them. I am also very perceptive and skilled at figuring out the strengths, weaknesses and needs of a student and using these to tackle topics in a tailored and productive way.

I am a friendly and relaxed tutor. I’m new to tutoring so happy to be guided by whatever you need. My lessons can cover both content and structuring for exams. I have resources that I created myself to get a 9 and an A* in history respectively. I am knowledgeable and up to date with exam boards and mark schemes so can give tailored instructions designed to help you get maximum possible marks. History has an overwhelming amount of content but I have a range of memorisation techniques to help combat this. I also believe that picking the right material to memorise is more important than quantity so if you struggle with memorising content I can help you break it down into more manageable amounts of information that can be applied flexibly in essays. My sessions can be as long or short as needed and can involve one session of advice or multiple one-on-one, focussed sessions.
