History subjects should be a joy to learn. Yes there can be a lot to cover, but focusing on particular insightful and engaging stories can help students recall information in stressful exam environments.
Other key points:
- Essay structures are key. I create bespoke structures which are adapted for each student
- Understand the higher-order skills the exam board wants to see in your work.
- Careful reading of mark schemes and examiner reports help identify what the exam board want to see.
