About David
I am a current part-time instructor. I have been teaching for over two years; however, I have been tutoring on the side for the bulk of this decade. I have experience teaching 1-on-1 and in a group setting. My goal is to provide students the ability to appreciate math and science so that they are able to succeed in their future endeavors in those fields with confidence and independence.

For math, I always like to see if students have a good foundation from their previous courses because math is hierarchical. If they do not, I make sure that we put the bricks in place to establish a good foundation for their current course. I present the material through various modalities. I definitely ensure that students do not become co-dependent on calculators.
For science, I love showing students experimentally and through simulations. In addition, I like to make sure that they have the right level of math knowledge to plow through physics and chemistry.
