About Elie
I'm Elie! I'm an undergraduate student at NYU studying Math and Computer Science! I've always enjoyed mathematics and enjoy teaching it to my peers and friends too!
I've been helping my friends pass their classes through tutoring for 5+ years now. A friend in high school raised his exam grade from 40 to 85 after a few sessions with me. Similar stories in middle school as well.

I want to help students understand the logic of mathematics and not just memorize formulas. This requires the students to think for themselves to find solutions while I guide them in the right direction and give insightful hints. This not only improves understanding but confidence as well, which is just as important when learning.
I have experience and achievements in many math competitions and was on my city's team where we went to national competitions. I got a 5 on AP Calc BC, took multivariable calculus and linear algebra in high school. And an 800 on my SAT math.
My lessons would be best suited for high school students or early undergraduate students.
