About Patrick
I am currently a PhD student writing up my thesis in computational chemistry. Throughout my studies I have found the benefit of teaching other students and joy that it brings to both the student and tutor. My goal is to provide the student with the best opportunity to progress in chemistry and inspire a sense of passion for the subject.

My lessons involve giving the student a general understanding of topics and common problems encountered across the chemistry syllabus. This helps to identify and solidify any underlying misunderstandings or gaps in fundamental knowledge that are imperative for a successful outcome from a chemistry GCSE/A-level. Before, embarking on practice problems, and subsequently exam style questions to ready the student for tests/exams.
This format is ultimately tailored to the student's needs and their specific learning style. As someone who struggled with dyslexia throughout high school and was tutored during my A-level chemistry course, I found this to be the best approach.
