Giada has been my tutor for a year and a half now. When I came to Italy from China four years ago I barely knew Italian and found it very hard to communicate. Giada has not only helped me with Italian grammar and vocabulary, but most importantly she introduced me to the Italian culture and language. Her lessons are very organised and she is always very patient with me. The best part is that when I’m too tired or overwhelmed by a difficult topic I can always tell her and she will switch to a different activity or try to teach the topic with a different approach. I was born Italian, but I have always lived abroad, therefore I had never had a chance to properly study Italian and become fluent in it. That is when Giada stepped in. She helped me with the grammar and the pronunciation of the words. She also taught me a great amount of “ways of saying” and expressions. With her help I became able to speak fluent Italian and start learning Italian literature.

I have known Giada for only a couple years, when we started attending the same boarding school. but she quickly managed to show me what a great tutor she is. Being a mother tongue Italian speaker, she really helped me to improve my writing and my grammar, helping me getting a grade 7/7 in IB Italian A Literature.
