About Samantha
I am currently attending Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington as an Elementary Education Major. I am the oldest of 7 siblings and am the bookworm of our little but large group. In my junior year of high school, I joined a program to tutor young students and inspired them to read and take their comprehension skills home! They continued the program after that and many students rejoined!

I start off simple with smaller children’s books. We read through them and then use a small chart to understand the different parts of the story and even talk about the story to understand a comprehension baseline. After that we slowly move up into more difficult texts and understandings.
