About Luke

I am a former student athlete at Penn, who studies finance and business analytics at Wharton. In my free time, I tutor in the West Philadelphia community. I have always been a strong math student, and I have tutored middle school to high school aged people in math and english for about 8 years.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is to ensure that my students understand the concepts embedded in the problem and are able to think through and contemplate the full problem. I try to align my teaching and lesson plans with Howard Garner's theory of multiple intelligence. This approach allows me to find how the student learns best and utilizing this to cater my lessons to each student's strengths and build on my student's weaknesses.
