About Kyesha
I am a Australian born native English speaker currently studying a bachelor of creative arts, majoring in digital media. I have previously studied a bachelor of law as well, but wanted to follow a career path better suited to my own passions.
In Australia I have met many international students, and at some point have extended my help to them to improve their English speaking abilities. Through those experiences I have grown a passion to teach and inspire students to continue learning English! I am currently studying a foreign language myself, so I am very aware of how hard it is to learn a second language (especially if self taught). I try my best to create a comfortable learning environment that will encourage my students to speak at any level of fluency they are at!

My lessons will be structured as the following:
First lesson - introduction, goal setting and small test. This sessions aim is for me to better personalise a lesson plan to your specific needs as a student and see what level of fluency you are currently at.
Second session - First half of lesson will be covering new content. Second half of lesson will be divided into two parts:
1. Reviewing previous sessions vocabulary and pronunciation.
2.Going over any questions you may have or requests you would like to ask for.
Every other session we have will follow this general layout.
My lessons are beginner friendly, aimed at middle school students to high school students who seek to improve their spoken English abilities.
General lesson times will range between 1-2 hours. To get the most of our lessons I would recommend 2 hours.
I have previously tutored students one-on-one in my university helping with assignments and presentation skills. I have also tutored a few Korean students to help improve their English skills and pronunciation in the past.
