About Kara
Hello! My name is Kara Patterson (Mrs. Patterson). I am 28 years old. I have been teaching in the education field since 2021. First, I taught as a co-teacher for 3 years and now I am substituting for schools all over San Antonio, Texas. I meet a lot of different students who have a need for people like me to do all i can to help them comprehend and complete the school work. I am confident that I am able to do this for you as well!

As a tutor, I understand that not everyone learns the exact same way. With that being said, in our first couple of sessions, I will observe how you will benefit best from my lessons. For instance, does it help you to mirror me (meaning I teach it first and then you teach it back to me)? Do you absorb information better when it is broken down in steps and we walk through it together? I will take the approach that best fits you.
I've been working in the education field since 2021 and am currently a substitute for Kindergarten through Senior level in high school.
