About Priya
Math has been one of my favorite subjects for as long as I can remember, I have taught students in subjects ranging from simple addition and the basics of division up to calculus. I am willing to put in extra hours on lesson plans and curated practice work to ensure the student can gain confidence in their struggle subjects. I hope to make each student feel welcome and comfortable in addressing their problems so we can resolve them and build their academic confidence together.

Start by walking through steps of solving problems, doing guided practice problems to see where struggles are, working out struggles. We would then move on to independent practice problems. As a tutor with prior experience, I have patience in teaching and have come to understand that every student's learning process is different. The lesson plans can be adapted to fit preferred learning types depending on the student. The lessons are for any level K-12, and high school honors/AP classes.
