About Ash
I grew up in Brooklyn but with two British parents so when I was choosing universities I decided to come back to the UK. Currently, I study math and computer science at St. Andrews. Academically, I'm most interested in machine learning and pure math such as abstract algebra and non-Euclidean geometry. Outside of classes I love getting outside and doing water sports though it is a bit hard with the Scottish weather. I'm also involved with some university run DJ collectives and I'm never one to miss an event!

Lessons can be any length depending on the tutees desire though I recommend an hour. I have previous experience tutoring several grade school students (ages 10-15) in the US in both Maths and English. I completed AP calc BC with a grade of 5 and currently have a grade average of 18 on St. Andrew's 20 point scale (a first is 17 or higher). Pure math is my strong suit but I'm able to teach any math that is taught prior to uni including calculus, trigonometry, algebra, and abstract algebra (such as group theory, set theory etc.).
