After four years of tutoring, I recognize that a hands-on learning method helps solidify concepts in students' minds. I teach math for grades, third through tenth, including algebra, geometry, and precalculus. My lessons typically last an hour. During the first half of class, I teach the concepts, having my student do the problems with me. In the second half of class, we will focus on practice and making sure my student is getting the concepts through a variety of problems, including efficiently solving problems that may not be as straightforward.
