About Henry
I am enrolled in an accelerated B.S. chemical engineering program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have extensively applied my knowledge of chemistry and transport phenomena in research relating to silk-based biomaterials. My classes such as Modern Techniques in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry I/II have provided me with a solid foundation of knowledge which I would love to share with others. I have significant experience tutoring my peers with their classes as well.

The best approach to learning for college, exams, and careers involves building a robust foundation upon which other skills can be constructed. This is particularly important for chemistry, physics, and mathematics (especially calculus), as these courses involve solving problems of increasing complexity which is not possible without a strong base of knowledge. I do not believe in rote memorization as an effective learning strategy, and my lessons will be directed to provide true understanding and application of material through practice.
