About Bethany
I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn subjects I’m passionate about. I’m aware that math and science doesn’t come easily to most people, so I find joy in helping people learn. I’ve been told by my students and peers that I’ve tutored that I do a good job at breaking things down into a simpler explanation and making connections with materials to real-life situations.

I’ve had experience teaching both middle and high school math classes. I also tutor college students in math l, test prep, physics, and other science classes. I’m familiar with using technology to help promote student learning. As well as completing courses for a math and secondary education degree, I’ve spend a semester doing research specifically on pedagogy (how to effectively teach to promote learning).
