About Joshua
I am someone who is very passionate about maths, chemistry and biology. I enjoy teaching as I like to see people make constant progression in their subject and enjoy their subject, I am able to explain complex concepts in digestible and understanding ways that are easy to remember and grasp. As a maths and chemistry student myself I understand from the perspective of a student the difficulties within their subject, which gives me a unique perspective into the issues they face with their subject and how we can fix these issues.

My lessons will start with assessing weak areas in the given subject and practice tackling these areas with practice questions with an emphasis on the method of solving the questions, then I will give the person I’m tutoring a chance to do some exam style practice questions to see whether they truly understand. I will question and challenge the person I’m tutoring throughout to build up concrete understanding of the content I’m teaching. Any mistakes made will be run through to understand what went wrong and how we can fix this for future questions to ensure constant improvement and progress.
