About Sufyaan
There is no better feeling for myself as a teacher, than seeing a student persevering and finally grasping a concept they may have found difficult at first. It is one of the most rewarding things to see.
I push students far beyond what they believe is possible, because most of the time it's not that you simply 'don't know', it's that you're not in an environment that fosters a never giving up attitude that promotes determination and perseverance, that rewards a solid attempt instead of just being right all the time - if you knew everything, there would be no reason to learn!
You'll find that the culture I create is one that allows you to think critically, to think about the 'why' behind the chemistry, which ultimately improves your ability to tackle even the most difficult questions.

My approach to tutoring is a highly personable one, it is all dependent on what works for you as a student.
I believe in breaking down concepts in chemistry to a fundamental level, as when students grasp difficult concepts, it makes exam questions much easier to tackle, and ultimately allows them to achieve the top marks.
It is centred around what is required from YOUR exam board, however, merely ticking off boxes is not my style, you will leave every session with myself with a firmer understanding of chemistry, and will therefore love the subject even more!
I achieved top marks myself, so I know exactly what methods work in increasing your knowledge in chemistry. I work off what you struggle with the most, which means complete transparency is required to ensure I know exactly what you are struggling with. This allows me to create a tailor-made lesson that will suit you greatly.
