About Tanya
We all learn best when we are feeling confident and genuinely interested - NOT when we are nervous and bored. I have high expectations of both students and myself, always keen to recognise effort and celebrate progress. Students are not shamed for making mistakes as they are challenged to push themselves to the next level. Targets get met with a warm and nurturing approach. I want students to enjoy learning AND see great results!

I can make English at the highest level approachable in 50-minute lessons that are customised for each unique student, whether we are targeting literacy (age 7+), preparing for exams (e.g. GCSEs and A-Levels), or sharpening skills for university or professional needs (such as presentations or interviews). I work hard to offer lessons that are engaging, original and empowering.
