About Isabelle
In high school, English was one of my favorite subjects, and I always excelled because of my reading and writing abilities. I am also very good at transferring my knowledge to others because I am able to craft my teaching approach to the needs of every individual. Currently, I am a college student at the University of Washington, and I have experience with many English and writing-based classes. Because I know what it is like to study English, I will craft my lessons from the perspective of a student to provide you with the help to reach your learning goals. I am fluent in both English and Russian, and I studied Spanish for 6 years with great proficiency, so if English is not your first language, I can help you learn with lessons customized for second-language learners. I am flexible with lesson plans because they will vary from student to student, but I will be able to edit and revise essays while explaining grammar/sentence structure/word choice, teaching grammar/vocabulary, deconstructing and understanding various texts, and more. I am able to tutor students of all English levels ranging from elementary school to the university level.
