About Brodie

I'm an IT Trainer, Cyber Support Specialist, and Freelance Tutor with a Computer Science & Cyber Security degree from Swinburne University of Technology.

I specialise in helping university and TAFE students build confidence in networking, cybersecurity, and computer science through practical, hands-on learning. Whether you're preparing for exams, completing assignments, or trying to understand difficult concepts, I tailor each lesson to your current level and learning style.

Throughout my studies, I consistently achieved High Distinctions (HDs), giving me a strong academic foundation that I combine with real-world industry experience. My teaching focuses on developing genuine understanding rather than memorising commands, using practical labs and real-world examples to make complex topics easier to grasp.

My goal is to help you not only achieve better grades but also develop the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed in your course and future IT career.

About the lesson

To make the most of our time together, I encourage students to send through lecture slides, assignment briefs, lab instructions, or any topics they'd like to cover before the lesson. I review the material in advance so I can prepare a structured session tailored specifically to your needs, allowing us to spend more time learning and less time figuring out where to start.

This preparation helps us work through your questions more efficiently and ensures each lesson is focused on achieving your academic goals.
