About Prashik
I believe good teaching starts with genuine practical experience and a willingness to make complex topics easy to understand.
I am a cybersecurity professional with experience as an Assistant Manager in cybersecurity audits, where I have worked on 100+ audits across 20+ regulators. This experience has given me exposure to real-world cybersecurity, information security controls, risk assessment, compliance and auditing practices.
I am certified in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. I bring this professional knowledge into my teaching so that students can understand not only the theory, but also how these concepts are used in real organizations.
I take a patient and student-focused approach to teaching. I am comfortable working with beginners and students who may initially find cybersecurity or IT concepts intimidating. I encourage questions, explain concepts from the fundamentals, and adjust the pace according to the student's understanding.
My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and develop confidence while building practical knowledge that they can actually use.

My approach to teaching is simple: understand the concept first, then learn how it is applied in the real world.
I am a cybersecurity professional with experience as an Assistant Manager in cybersecurity audits. I have handled 100+ audits across 20+ regulators and hold certifications including CEH, CHFI and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. I use this practical experience to make cybersecurity and IT concepts easier to understand and more relevant to real-world situations.
My classes are interactive and focused on understanding rather than memorizing. Depending on the subject, we can work through practical examples, scenarios, demonstrations, problem-solving exercises and hands-on activities. I encourage students to ask questions and explore the “why” behind each concept.
A typical class starts with a quick discussion of the topic and the student's current level, followed by an explanation of the core concepts. We then apply those concepts through practical examples or exercises, and finish with a recap and questions so that the student is comfortable with what they have learned.
I can adapt the pace and depth of the classes according to the student's goals. Whether you are completely new to computers and cybersecurity, a college student looking to strengthen your fundamentals, preparing for cybersecurity certifications, or simply interested in understanding how cybersecurity works in professional environments, the lessons can be tailored to your needs.
My goal is not just to teach you what to do, but to help you understand how and why things work so that you can apply your knowledge independently.
