About Lakshmi
My name is Lakshmi and I am a current junior at the University of Rochester. I earned a 33 on the ACT as well as a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and have tutored several middle school and high school students in math. I understand how challenging math can be but with practice and reinforcement, math can be extremely rewarding. strive to foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that motivates middle school and high school students to tackle math with enthusiasm.

Consistent practice is vital when it comes to improving one's math skills. This is why my teaching methods include breaking down complex concepts into smaller concepts and reinforcing those smaller concepts by working through a variety of practice problems. My methods include clearly explaining these mathematical concepts using simple language and step-by-step instructions.
