About Ailís
I am a third-year Cardiff University student studying Mathematics and Music. I specialise in composition, harmonisation, arrangement, and studio production. To date, I have achieved 2:1s and firsts in all my music exams. I have three years tutoring experience both online and in person, teaching students of all abilities. I also take part in university schemes to help and guide younger students.

I like to spend part of our first lesson learning what a student would gain most from my time with them. This might be anything from exam techniques and confidence building to conceptual understanding. I work with my students to find what works best for them and what they should cover. Some students prefer choosing the topics we will cover, while others get more from a tutor-led course of study. I then start each topic with an explanation, examples, and practice questions for the student before finishing up topics with a quiz to consolidate learnings.
