About Melody
I have over 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings including one-on-one, small groups, and in a classroom. My favorite subject to teach is Algebra, but I love all math and will gladly share that love with you. I have also had a great deal of success teaching students test taking and study skills with many of my former students showing gains on their SAT and ACT scores.

Math is both a language and a puzzle. If you can break it down into its simpler pieces, it becomes easier to understand. I approach each lesson with the idea of showing students how to take a complex problem and simplify it. There are always multiple ways to approach a problem and I incorporate my student's needs into my approach when explaining how to solve a problem.

I met Melody in my high school,and I am from China.She is a very cute and popular teacher,everybody calls her Miss V.Although she was just a english teacher in China,but she is very warm-heart to help us solve our chemistry problem or other things.I think she is strict in class,but still filled with happiness and laughter in her class.Chinese students love her so much.
