About Brooke
I am a guitar tutor with more than 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz, Guitar Principal. I teach Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, specializing in media composition. Lessons focus on atmospheric textures, thematic development, and sound design. Students work with digital audio workstations (DAWs) to integrate guitar into film and game music. I follow a student-centered approach designed for youth and adult learners. Sessions cover melody, harmony, rhythm, tone, and phrasing. Students practice creating layered guitar parts and combining them with other instruments. I guide them in composing motifs, musical cues, and cinematic textures. Creativity, experimentation, and problem-solving are central to my methodology. Lessons include performing and recording exercises. Students build technical skills while fostering artistic expression. I also provide guidance on stylistic interpretation and tone shaping.
