About Matthew
Hi, I'm Matthew. Devoted husband, father to two boys, landlord to 11 chickens, and a math tutor to over 150 students for more than a decade. I teach all levels of math from elementary, high school, and university.
Since my first days as a tutor, parents would tell me that I had a gift for teaching and making sense of math’s toughest equations for their kids. This reinforced in me the sense that teaching is not merely a job, but a vocation.
I am currently writing a math textbook and teaching my 3-year-old how to add. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with my family, woodworking, or planning my next backyard homestead project.
