About Joseph
My background is chemical engineering and I've worked in the technical sales industry focused on fluids applications for 7 years. Technical sales is a mix of technical knowledge and the ability to communicate that knowledge to a variety of different people with different understanding levels. I find that skill set translates very well to tutoring. I also have 2 years of math tutoring experience at the elementar, middle school, and high school levels.

I'm a big believer in a more conversational and tailored approach to lessons to begin with. Everyone student comes in with different strengths, challenges, and goals and accounting for that early on is important. Once targets are identified my approach tends to be to really focus in on concepts one at a time until they're drilled in.
