Hello my name is Delna Roy, I am a 4th year University of Alberta student in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry enrolled in Bachelor of Dental Hygiene. I am offering summer private tutoring for junior high to high school students starting at 20-25$ an hour.
My forte is math and science and my tutoring is focused on helping students achieve better grades and long-term academic success. I identify each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement, then create personalized lessons to match their goals.
Lessons include targeted practice, mock exams, and strategies to improve understanding and test performance. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their marks, and prepare for university.

I know Delna from high school. She was one year ahead of me and tutored me in Mathematics 20 and Mathematics 30. She was incredibly supportive, patient, and explained concepts in a way that made them easy to understand. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to improve my understanding of the material and perform much better in the course. Thank you, Delna, for all your help and encouragement!
