About Camilla
I am a first year dental student at the University of Leeds. I am an enthusiastic tutor who enjoys both teaching and learning.
Having gained 10A*s and 2As at GSCE and 2A*s and an A at Advanced Level, I feel I would be an ideal candidate to help students learn to enjoy education and improve their grades. I have only recently finished school and therefore have a good understanding of exam technique and different methods of teaching and learning. I am passionate and have an in depth understanding of my subjects, particularly biology and chemistry. I am always eager to increase my knowledge and learn more about my subjects.
I understand the necessity to make learning stimulating and interesting, as well as interactive. I understand the importance of adapting lessons according to the pupil, and can be guided completely by the pupil as to what they wish to cover.

I would be happy to provide a personalised tuition programme to all pupils, this will include structured lesson plans. I will set regular tasks to ensure full understanding of topics . My tutоring style is very adaptable аnd varies based upon the student's needs. I will aim to determine the needs and goals in the initial meeting and then will design the rest of the sessions to the individual's needs or requirements. My teaching style is both effective and enjoyable and will help pupils to reach their full potential, I use various techniques and styles to do this.
I am able to provide exam materials and aid pupils with both knowledge of exam material and exam techniques.
I can also provide help in writing applications (personal statements) for dentistry and medicine as well as helping with university entrance exams.
