About Oliver
I have been in the criminal justice profession for about 4 years as the lead campus safety dispatcher for a local college. In this position, I am responsible for ensuring the safety of the campus community. I am also assigned an additional task that is reviewing our department's incident reports for completion and accuracy. I also review these reports for CLERY compliance. I have a great deal of education background, having received my master's in crime analysis from Tiffin University at the end of 2023. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and reading. However, criminal justice is my passion, so I am always learning more about the field and furthering the things that I know.

I like to allow students to attempt to walk me through their line of thinking when they are struggling with a topic or problem before I jump in and offer them assistance because this allows me to judge where they are at and where their head is at in terms of understanding the material. Once I have that understanding, I am able to help guide them toward the solution or information they need by continuing to ask guiding questions and allowing them to find the answer on their own unless they are truly stuck.
