About Luz
Hi, I'm Luz, a passionate art therapy facilitator with a story that connects art, emotional well-being and personal resilience.
As a migrant, I discovered how art can be a refuge and a tool to overcome challenges. I found art as a way to heal and build a path full of purpose.
My training and experience:
- Graduate in Community Services and Project Management, with years of experience working with vulnerable communities.
- Creator of “Arts with the Heart”, a monthly workshop in Australia that combines art, meditation and emotional support for migrants and the Latin community.
- Healing with Arts, from the University of Florida, focusing on how art transforms lives.
- I have guided more than 20 people towards creative employability through projects such as *“Arts and Crafts for Entrepreneurs”*.
My approach
I firmly believe that we are all creative and that art is a powerful tool to heal, grow and discover ourselves. My work focuses on:
️ Create safe spaces where you can explore your emotions without judgment.
️ Design customized activities that fit your unique needs.
️ Promote emotional well-being and self-discovery through creativity.
What can you expect?
In my art therapy classes, it doesn't matter if you've never picked up a paintbrush or if you don't consider yourself "artistic." The important thing is to enjoy the process, connect with yourself, and discover new ways to express yourself.

About my classes:
My art therapy classes are spaces designed to foster your emotional well-being through creativity. Here it is not about being a professional artist, but about expressing yourself, discovering yourself and healing through art.
️ What do we do in each class?
️ Initial meditation: To relax and focus.
️ Creative exploration: Activities such as painting, collage, creative writing, and embroidery.
️ Reflection: A safe space to share thoughts or emotions, if you wish.
️ Positive closure: Dynamics to take with you a feeling of calm and achievement.
