Perfect! Malia is straight to the point, trying to understand her student's needs, strength and weakness, then develop vocal training exercises catering to her student's needs. No time waste in each lesson started from day one. Unlike a lot of the other coaches on this platform, I find them very much solely focusing on choosing the students of their liking rather than seriously teaching vocal training as a professional. I am one of them. I came across 5 coaches on this platform that I have tried to book for a lesson, ending up three of them not even replying as I have stated my ethnic background and being a beginner in singing, one of them is simply trying to pick only students of her liking and one of them cannot provide lessons in person. I am glad that I have finally found Malia and have contacted her. I would say Malia is the most down to earth vocal coach here mainly focus on teaching and helping her students in their vocal needs. I really appreciate Malia's teaching and I do see progress already. So far I have 5 lessons already and going on for the 6th next week. Try Malia if you have issues with other coaches. Malia also has a dedicated sound proof room for your vocal training. I would definitely highly recommend Malia if you are a serious student in learning singing.

I had a breakdown with the first in person session because my voice kept cracking and i was getting overwhelmed with "constantly failing" with my voice and she really helped me calm down and reassured me that I can do this and to not be so hard on myself. I love classes with Malia, she's fun and funny, encouraging but also doesn't have time for excuses, because who does when they're getting between you and what you want to be doing, which is singing the music you love?
